Proprietary Selections and Importations

What is Proprietary selection?

A cultivar may be considered proprietary by an individual or company who has a financial interest in the cultivars which have been bred, selected or imported.

The proprietor may choose to control the terms and set the conditions for propagation and sale of this material.

Conditions could typically include some of the following: PBR, trademarking, non propagation agreement and levy or royalty payments.

Vines which have been imported from Vitis Rauscedo and Planselby Australian Grapevine Foundation Planting Service (AGFPS),are not available as cuttings. These are sold as grafted vines only.

For a list of Plansel and Vitis Rauschedo varieties go to Variety List.
